It’s been a while hasn’t it… blogging takes work, and is something that is great in principle, yeah, I think… I can write content every week. It doesn’t take long for life and work to get in the way and before you know it, it’s been over a year since your last post. Whoops… that was a short lived commitment.
Funny though, how I got here to write a post tonight. You see, I have been looking at iPad Pro’s for quite a few months now, deciding to wait a few months for the new reiteration. After being disappointed that Apple didn’t plan to release any hardware at the annual WWDC I became complacent and decided to just jump – screw the new updates, I want it now (This “I want it now” world is a bad influence). Last weekend I made the plunge and got myself a 10.5 inch iPad Pro – and have been absolutly loving it – and have been actually surprised how many uses I am finding for it.
So how does that relate to deciding to write this blog post you ask? I’m a huge software buff – I think that’s why I love Mac and iOS so much – windows and android developers just don’t put the same care into the apps, maybe its the framework they are built upon – but i know many would disagree with that though. But there is no arguing with this point – apps on Apple products are a much higher quality product when comparing a design and usability point of view. Anyway, after browsing around on the App Store and picking the apps for services I work in every day, I come across the WordPress app, yeah I have that service I think to myself, Let’s give it a download.
So, here I am, dusting my blog off, a bit, at least. Over the past year, my job has changed a fair bit, and still evolving. I created this blog primarily to jot down my work experiences, to note down my learnings – more for myself, to decompress and document my thoughts. Forward to today, I’m learning a lot – maybe it’s time to blog it down again.
Until next time, hopefully soon.
